The general method of division is to find the least common multiple of denominator, and then expand the numerator denominator of each fraction by the same multiple.

Such as 2/5 and 3/4.

The least common multiple of 5 and 4 is 20.

2/5=(2x4)/(5x4)=8/20

3/4=(3x5)/(4x5)= 15/20
