How to interpret the expression of mathematics teaching time in primary schools

Through students' hands-on operation, exploration and intuitive demonstration, let students read and write some special time with 5 points and 5 points. Let the students know that 1 is 60 points. Let students fully feel that time is in their lives, and cultivate students' awareness and habit of cherishing time.

Show a clock chart and ask the students to tell the time. Let the students talk about how to read the time on the clock, and then record the time in two ways. Then show the second clock chart and let the students observe when it is. Tell me how you read it. From 4: 00, 15, 4: 00, 17: 00, 18: 00,19: 00; Or read 4: 20 first, and then count back 1, which is 4: 00 19.

Difficulties in understanding time:

1. Students who know the time have some difficulties in learning. Many children's initial life experience is that they can look at the seed face and say what time it is, and ask them to express the exact time on the clock face in a few minutes. Through teaching, some students have been able to express the exact time on the clock in a few minutes and can clearly express their recognition process in words, but one third of them still have difficulties.

2. They can only write the hour, half an hour and clock face time when the minute hand points to a number on the clock face, but they can't accurately express the clock face time when the minute hand points to a small cell on the clock face, let alone the clock face time that is only a few minutes away from the next hour. Even excellent students often make mistakes. In order to distinguish them clearly, we need to demonstrate intuitive things to help them understand and strengthen the practice of this knowledge.
