King of Mathematics "King of Mathematics" Invitational Tournament
The "King of Mathematics" invitational tournament was held by the Trial Teaching Theory Research Association of the Center for Mathematics Education Research and Development of China Education Association. The topics were divided into six grades 1-6. The contest topics are in line with students' learning level of mathematics, close to students' life, emphasizing interest and thinking, and the topics are illustrated. According to the grade proposition, it is divided into preliminary contest and final contest, and the test paper is organized and printed by the organizing Committee of the national "King of Mathematics" invitational tournament. The test paper proposition is close to the requirements of each grade in the mathematics curriculum standard, and the difficulty is appropriately increased to make it scientific and interesting.

In the preliminary contest, the content that should be mastered in the mathematics textbook should be examined, and both knowledge and ability should be paid equal attention, with a full score of 120. In the final, 30% of the applicants with excellent results in the preliminary round entered the final, and the requirements for knowledge and ability were slightly higher than those in the preliminary round, with a full score of 120. In addition, there are all kinds of puzzles, clever movement of matchsticks, filling operation symbols and so on. Generally, questions related to numerical problems will account for about 50% of the total score, about 30% are comprehensive application questions, and the remaining 20% are some very flexible questions. In reviewing and preparing for the exam, we should pay special attention to the usual knowledge accumulation, lay a good foundation, and at the same time contact with different types of topics as much as possible to exercise our thinking faster.
