Speaking of the quality of teaching, I have heard a lot, watched a lot and practiced a lot in XX years. Today, the dominant position of language number has not changed, but the teaching quality of the two major disciplines is quite different. It is our portrayal that a family is happy and a family is sad. When Nan 'an District Chinese is struggling for defeat, we are struggling in mathematics and rarely show our faces. Does it mean that our mathematics has gone from bad to worse in XX years? No, from my observation, it can be described as "plain". However, it is impossible for schools not to develop, and stagnation is backward. It's time to reflect.
There are many factors that affect the quality of teaching, such as students' innate quality, family influence, social environment, school conditions, teachers' quality and so on. There are some factors that we can't change, but as front-line teachers, we can observe and change three factors: students' initiative in learning, the cultivation of students' learning ability and learning habits, and teachers themselves. Although it is only three aspects, it involves the whole process of our teaching. How should we reflect on these aspects?
First, reflect on students' initiative in learning and the cultivation of study habits.
Among many factors to improve teaching quality, students' initiative in learning is the most important one. If we leave this point, all other efforts will be in vain. In reflection, we can think and observe from the following points:
1. Every time after class, students ask questions around you, so you can't leave the classroom? And the students are fighting for your answer?
2. When you get along with students, do students test you with some difficult problems? What did you do in this situation?
3. When students encounter problems in the learning process, do they ask the teacher for advice after careful consideration? Or ask the teacher questions without thinking?
4. Are students confined to textbooks in the learning process? Have you expanded your study field?
5. Good study habits can achieve the effect of "teaching" to "not teaching". These habits are mainly reflected in: being able to consciously control yourself at home, from completing homework to previewing and reviewing; In the self-study class, after finishing the teacher's homework, I can consciously arrange my own learning activities.
These questions can be answered by the teacher's own observation and thinking. If more than half of your answers to these questions are negative, it shows that your students are not active in learning. You need to find your own reasons from cultivating students' interest, stimulating learning motivation and mobilizing learning enthusiasm.
Second, reflect on the cultivation of students' learning ability
The cultivation of students' learning ability is the basis of improving teaching quality and the sublimation of learning initiative. If we do not pay attention to the cultivation of students' learning ability, no matter how hard teachers try, it will be difficult to achieve the goal of improving teaching quality. How should we reflect on this?
1. What guiding ideology do you adopt for a certain problem in the teaching process of class discussion? Is it that when more than two students can't answer, the teacher is eager to tell the answer?
2. Are there any specific measures to guide students to think deeply about a problem? What do you do when a student's answer makes the teacher dissatisfied? Should we continue to break down the problem further or change the subject?
3. In the process of students' thinking, does the teacher take the initiative to watch or often interrupt the students' answers?
4. Did you teach students learning methods during the teaching process? Especially when assigning reciting tasks, did you tell them how to recite them?
Each of the above contents is closely related to the reflection on the cultivation of students' learning ability. When you reflect on how you cultivate students' learning ability, you can refer to the terms listed above for introspection. If more than half of the projects are negative, then you should think about how to find a solution to the problem in order to cultivate students' learning ability.
Third, how to reflect on teachers' own education and teaching level.
1, reflect on your own ideas.
Whether our concept of quality still stays in the enrollment rate of key middle schools, whether we acquiesce in the differences and condone the differences from the moment we receive new classes.
Whether studying teaching materials or designing teaching process, it is clear that the knowledge and skills goal is the basic goal in the three-dimensional goal, and "double basics" is still the focus of students' learning.
When preparing lessons, do we pay attention to the needs of students at different levels, design different questions for students at different levels, and have a good mentality of hierarchical assignment?
Do we really regard communication and communication with parents as a continuation of teaching work, do we really, long-term and persistently pay attention to underachievers, and how many points can we give for our sense of responsibility?
2. Reflect on your own teaching.
The evaluation of teachers' teaching level is often puzzled by the authority and clear to the onlookers. In fact, the clearest thing should be students. If we learn to find our own teaching level deficiency from students' external performance, then your teaching will definitely take a big step forward. When we reflect on our teaching level, we can observe it from the following aspects.
When teaching, what expression do your students use to listen to the class? Have you been in a state of thinking? Is there a satisfied smile on the facial expression?
Do most students respond positively to every question? And have a heated discussion? Or in a dull atmosphere, students are not moved by the teacher's anxiety?
How much effective time do you leave for students in class? Can students be active more than half the time?
The measure of the benefit of 40 minutes is not how many students are taught in 40 minutes, but how many students are taught and how many students have mastered. Every teacher should demand quality from regular classes, be a wise teacher, and let students learn to learn, learn to learn and enjoy learning.
Of course, there are many external manifestations that reflect a teacher's teaching level. The following is just a simple explanation of some phenomena, which is relatively easy to grasp. These phenomena can reflect whether a teacher is popular with students in the teaching process. A teacher who is popular with students must be a teacher with high teaching level, which is proved by countless facts. Teaching reflection can make us know ourselves more clearly; Through reflection, we can find the shortcomings in our own teaching, and then find a method that is more in line with the requirements of improving teaching quality. Faced with unsatisfactory teaching results, self-criticism and self-examination are sometimes painful, especially when others criticize themselves. This requires us to face our own shortcomings with a tolerant attitude and really think from the heart. We go to work every day, lecture after lecture, and struggle every minute. Almost every day, we are exhausted in a state of tension and fatigue. What is this for? Is there anything more painful than just giving and getting nothing?
Teachers need to reflect, as do the management level of the school and the heads of departments.
First of all, reflect on our school-based teaching and research.
The content of our teaching and research activities should be less fashionable and more practical, focusing on some practical topics: how to consolidate the double foundation of underachievers, what specific remedial measures do we have, whether we have designed relevant activities for the cultivation of underachievers, and whether our teaching and research evaluation focuses on the learning process and the amount of knowledge mastered by students.
Second, reflect on our daily management.
Our daily management should take the growth of underachievers as the starting point, and the work intensity should be inclined to them. Have we established a file for the underachievers in each class, and whether our in-class lectures, collective supervision and routine inspections have brought the underachievers' learning situation into our field of vision?
Establish a perfect teaching quality analysis system. Unit test, mid-term test and final test are carried out in a unified way. After the completion, objectively evaluate the teaching status, affirm the achievements and effective practices, find out the causes of the problems, and formulate scientific and effective improvement measures.
A set of practical teaching quality evaluation system (or incentive mechanism) which is both binding and people-oriented should be introduced as soon as possible, so that teachers can know fairly well. Whether it is school quality monitoring, school district and district quality monitoring, non-monitoring grades should have a set of ultimate evaluation rules to guide teachers' behavior by economic means.
Teachers, with the development of society today, under the background of market economy, the characteristics of educational industrialization are gradually emerging, and the pattern of diversified running schools is everywhere. In the case that the government's financial investment in education is limited, how can we attract social investment and jointly run schools? Nothing but quality, reputation and brand. If Tan Xiao is a brand, when the brand expansion comes, I hope that our eyes will not be limited to the quality of teaching, but should focus on a higher "quality of running a school" to adapt to the constantly developing education situation and shine the sky of brand schools.
It really takes a lot of efforts to improve the quality of teaching in schools. I believe all the teachers present here, especially our respected math teacher, are making silent contributions to improve students' learning quality. I really want to thank you. Finally, I encourage you with 2 1: simply give knowledge, distribute books to students, and make a solid development plan. thank you
