2065438+2007 Computer Science Postgraduate Application Requirements of UCLA:
Master requirements: bachelor degree, GPA above 3.0, recommended above 3.5.
Academic qualifications of doctoral applicants: Applicants are required to graduate from undergraduate courses, but not from master's degrees. The minimum GPA for master's degree applicants is 3.5. In the past five years, 50%-80% of the admitted students graduated with an average GPA of around 3.6.
Professional background requirements: not limited to professional background, most applicants have computer professional background, and a few applicants have electrical engineering, mathematics, statistics and physics professional background. If you don't have a computer background, I suggest you take two years of calculus (through differential equations and discrete mathematics), 1 year physics (such as mechanics, vibration, waves, electromagnetism) and statistics.
GRE score: there is no minimum score requirement.
TOEFL/IELTS requirements: TOEFL total score is not less than 87, writing is not less than 25, speaking is not less than 24, reading is not less than 2 1, listening is not less than 17, IELTS total score is not less than 7.0, and there is no single score requirement. If the admitted students do not meet the above language requirements, they need to take ESLPE and decide whether to take the language courses provided by the American English Center of our school according to the test results. TOEFL 100, IELTS 7.5 students do not need to take the ESLPE exam.
