The second stage of the national college students' mathematics competition finals is generally at the end of March of the following year. The National Undergraduate Mathematics Competition began in 2009, and the first competition was hosted by chinese mathematical society and undertaken by National University of Defense Technology. As a national high-level discipline competition for college students, the National College Mathematics Competition provides a platform for young students to display their basic mathematical skills, mathematical thinking ability and learning achievements, which is helpful to the growth of mathematics and compound innovative talents, and plays a positive role in discovering and selecting outstanding mathematics talents and promoting the reform and development of basic mathematics courses in colleges and universities.
