It will be held from June 24 to 27.
There are 9 unified subjects in the senior high school entrance examination in the whole region: 7 subjects including morality and rule of law, Chinese, mathematics, foreign languages, history, physics and chemistry in the next semester of the ninth grade, and geography and biology in the next semester of the eighth grade. Before the unified proposition in the whole region, the senior high school entrance examination was put forward by each city (including Nanning and Beihai), and the examination time, duration and single subject scores were different.
Before Guangxi unified the proposition, the scores of senior high school entrance examination and the total scores of further education in Guangxi were presented in six grades: A+, A, B+, B, C+, C, D and E. The eligibility criteria were determined by the cities according to the basic requirements of the curriculum standards of the corresponding disciplines, and the percentage of qualified scores and above was determined according to the admission situation of local high schools. After the implementation of the unified proposition of the whole region, this provision is still implemented, and the way of presenting results has not changed.
According to the national requirements, combined with the actual situation in our region, after the unified proposition in the whole region, geography and biology are still classified as Band 8 exams. The exam time is the morning of June 27th, with 60 points in each subject. The new curriculum standard of two subjects has made it clear that "test scores are an important basis for junior high school students to graduate and higher school enrollment". At the same time, geography and biology are also selected subjects after the implementation of the "3+ 1+2" model in the comprehensive reform of the college entrance examination, and the earlier they are included in the total score of the senior high school entrance examination.
The more junior high schools pay attention to the curriculum arrangement of the two subjects, the national curriculum can be fully opened. Considering that students of Grade 2020 and Grade 202 1 have already taken or will soon take geography and biology exams, from 2023 to 2024, cities will still implement the original regulations, and from 2025 onwards, they will be uniformly included in the total scores of senior high school entrance examinations.
