What is the axiomatic method?
The so-called axiomatic method refers to the method of deducing other propositions according to logical rules and establishing a deductive system from as few original concepts and unproven original propositions as possible. Engels once said: the so-called axiom in mathematics is a few ideological provisions that mathematics needs as a starting point. Axiomatic method can systematically summarize mathematical knowledge, clearly reveal the theoretical basis of mathematics, help to compare the essential similarities and differences of various branches of mathematics, and promote the establishment and development of new mathematical theories. One of the basic characteristics of the development of modern science is the mathematicization of scientific theory, and axiomatization is a main feature of the maturity and mathematicization of scientific theory.
