Discount calculation
The clothing counter of a shopping mall is holding a "200 yuan Return 100 Yuan" activity, and the salesperson said, "We held a 50% discount activity, which is particularly cost-effective". But is this really the case? Clothes all end with "8" and "9", so it is difficult to make up an integer multiple of 200 yuan or 200 yuan.
In order to calculate the preferential margin, this calculation formula is applied, in which under the premise of "200 yuan return 100 yuan", X represents the consumption amount, and N and A in the formula need to be brought into the calculation according to the activity amount. If in this activity, the consumer only bought a dress of 399 yuan, this formula can be used to calculate that the consumer enjoys 7.5 fold.
Mathematical discount formula
1. discount = actual selling price ÷ original selling price × 100%. Discount refers to a certain percentage discount on the basis of the original price when buying and selling goods, such as 10% discount, which is called 10% discount or 10% discount.
2. If the discount rate is indicated in the price terms, it is called "Mingkou"; On the contrary, it is "hidden buckle". Discount is directly related to the price of goods. Whether discounts and discount rates are included in commodity prices affects commodity prices. The higher the discount rate, the lower the price.
3. Discount is an inevitable product of market economy. Proper use of discount is conducive to mobilizing the enthusiasm of buyers and expanding sales. In international trade, it is a means to strengthen foreign competition.
