1945 After moving from Indian to Liverpool, Best's mother Mona Best (1924~ 1988) opened the Casbas Coffee Club in a basement. Later, it became very famous, with 1000 members. The Beatles (then called a quarryman) held their first concert here. This club is also called Casbas Club, or just Casbas. The best performance was here with his first band, Black Jack, and then with The Beatles.
