I. Teaching

As a teacher, Professor Bo Yucheng always puts teaching first. Now I undertake undergraduate, master and doctoral courses, with heavy teaching tasks.

1, undergraduate teaching

Professor Bo Yucheng now teaches the specialized course "Structural Design of Automata" to undergraduates of this major every year. Although I am very familiar with this course, I still adhere to the habit of preparing lessons, constantly enrich the teaching content of the course, and often teach students examples in scientific research, production, trial production, factory finalization test, national shooting range finalization test and military test in time. Curriculum theory is closely combined with practice and is very popular with students.

2. Postgraduate teaching

Professor Bo Yucheng gives lectures on weapon system design theory, modern design method of weapon system and modern fluid mechanics to doctoral students majoring in weapon launch theory and technology and artillery, automatic weapons and ammunition engineering, and gives lectures on high-rate launch theory and technology and introduction to weapon system to graduate students majoring in artillery, automatic weapons and ammunition engineering. In the process of giving lectures to graduate students, he will tell them the latest trends of his major and the latest progress in scientific research, and at the same time, he will also ask students the problems encountered in scientific research, enhance their enthusiasm and initiative in learning, and make them directly contact with the forefront of the discipline.

3. Postgraduate training

He is even more strict with the cultivation of talents. He asked students to strengthen the study of basic knowledge such as mathematics, mechanics, foreign languages and computers, lay a solid professional foundation, broaden their knowledge and improve their comprehensive quality. Professor Bo Yucheng has trained 4 doctoral students and 20 master students, and now he is training 3 doctoral students and master students 10. During the training process, each person is guaranteed a computer in terms of learning and scientific research conditions. With the need of scientific research, every year, funds are taken out from scientific research funds to update high-performance computers, and all graduate students are required to study in the research room without class hours. Teachers and students are in a research room, which is convenient for answering students' questions and conducive to the cultivation of graduate students. In his view, as a tutor, we should choose the subject and research direction of graduate students, be close to the frontier of disciplines or new research directions, and be innovative. Only in this way can graduate students quickly understand the frontier of the subject, cultivate students' innovative thinking, innovative consciousness and innovative ability, show their intelligence and give play to their advantages in theoretical knowledge and practical ability, so that the trained graduate students can independently engage in scientific research and technological development, thus laying a good foundation for the development of the subject. The trained master students and doctoral students have strong independent working ability, and now they have undertaken important work in various positions.

4 the preparation of teaching materials

The textbooks "Automatic Weapon Structure" and "Specialized English-Weapons Volume" compiled by Professor Bo Yucheng have been used by both undergraduates and graduate students. In 2006, "Introduction to Future Wars and Weapons" was compiled as an elective course of the whole school, and "Structural Design of Automata" being compiled has been included in the national key textbook, which is expected to be published in July 2008. In terms of academic papers, more than 30 academic papers have been published in Journal of Ordnance Industry, Journal of Artillery Launch and Control, journal of north university of china and Light Weapons, and many of them have been included by EI. The research team publishes more than ten academic papers every year.

Second, scientific research.

According to the modern war and the development trend of transfer weapons at home and abroad, Professor Bo Yucheng first proposed the research of xx machine gun in 1993, which opened up a new field of transfer weapons in the light weapons industry.

During the Ninth Five-Year Plan period, Professor Bo Yucheng, as the project leader of north university of china, cooperated with 208 institutes and Nanjing University of Science and Technology to undertake the research on xx launch technology. During this period, north university of china carried out the overall scheme design of xx machine gun, and carried out the experimental study on the ignition time of bullet primer. For the first time, it is proposed that xx weapon should be started by miniature low-power motor, and the design calculation and engineering realization are carried out. On the basis of the research results of the Ninth Five-Year Plan, the key technology of xx weapon system launching is further solved, and a demonstration and verification prototype with fast target tracking ability is formed. Make xx weapons have the ability to effectively damage light armored targets such as armored transport vehicles and landing craft and air targets such as armed helicopters and cruise missiles, and at the same time provide the ability to suppress enemy bunkers and main roads.

During the Tenth Five-Year Plan period, north university of china cooperated with 208 institutes and Nanjing University of Science and Technology to undertake the research of the key pre-research project "Key Technologies of xx Weapons", with 208 institutes as the team leader. According to the division of labor, north university of china has done a lot of work for the research of key technologies. The developed prototype has been filmed. At present, we are actively preparing for the development of xx weapons.

In view of the problems encountered in engineering practice, in recent years, the theoretical analysis and calculation of "xx Weapon Demonstration and Verification Project" have been carried out in cooperation with 847 Factory, which is actively preparing to enter the model development.

Actively cooperate with 7 13 Institute to study the key technologies of xx weapons.

The 7.62mmxx machine gun designed by Professor Yang Zhen, a scientific research team, has completed the processing experiment in 296 factory, and the prototype has been initially applied in xx vehicle.

The breakthrough of key technology of xx weapon has laid a good foundation for model development. It will provide the possibility for the serial development of xx weapons in China and meet the needs of various uses.

Thanks to Professor Bo Yucheng's efforts, we have established stable scientific research cooperation bases with 208, 7 13, 847 and 296 factories, and are actively exploring new areas of cooperation.

After more than ten years' efforts, the research team has grown from two people at first to eleven now. Five members of the team have doctorates and six have master's degrees. There are 3 professors, 3 associate professors, 2 lecturers and 3 teaching assistants. Everyone has his own research direction and specialty, and pays attention to the combination of interdisciplinary knowledge. Three of them undertake national defense pre-research projects and national natural science funds, and the team has completed a number of provincial natural science funds, with annual research funding reaching more than 6,543,800 yuan. It has a certain academic position in the theory and technology of high RF emission in China, forming a good development atmosphere.

In order to further promote the development of this discipline, actively contact and introduce academicians of related majors to work in the school, and actively contact academic conferences in the industry to be held in the school, which has played an important role in the development of the discipline and improved the visibility of our school in the industry.

Obtained 2 invention patents, 3 utility model patents, and completed 3 provincial achievements appraisal.

As an old teacher, Professor Bo Yucheng takes time out of his busy schedule to give all teachers and students an academic report of 1-2 every year, which has been well received by teachers and students.

Third, academic exchanges.

In the process of studying the internal transmission tube machine gun, he actively carried out academic exchanges with Russia. Inviting famous Russian experts in the design of ducted weapons to give lectures in China; Academic exchange with Russian KBK Precision Instrument Design Bureau; Through academic exchanges, we have a further understanding of the key technologies of Gatling weapons. In order to improve the professional level and comprehensive quality of the discipline echelon, and at the same time strengthen the understanding and mastery of professional knowledge of doctoral and master students, every time they come back from a meeting outside, they always tell them the new achievements, new methods and new problems they have encountered, and discuss with them how to solve such problems so that they can always stand at the forefront of the discipline. The problems they face are all difficult problems encountered in scientific research and production. Every time he goes out, he tries to create conditions to take young teachers and graduate students out, and actively encourages young teachers to carry out extensive academic exchanges in the industry. After going back, everyone who goes out should make a research report, which improves everyone's enthusiasm and initiative and achieves the goal of information sharing and common progress.

Adhere to the team's regular academic exchanges. At the exchange meeting, all teachers, doctoral students and master students will talk about what they did in the past week, what new knowledge they learned, what documents they read and what problems they encountered, and we will solve them together. In addition, one or two people will be appointed to make a report at a time. In such an environment, everyone is under pressure, which improves everyone's enthusiasm and initiative.

Professor Bo Yucheng carefully revised all kinds of applications and application reports of young teachers. Especially for the papers to be published by young teachers and graduate students, from the basis of argument to conclusion, from format to wording and punctuation, we should seriously revise or put forward suggestions for revision.

Five, rigorous scholarship

Professor Bo Yucheng insists on studying every day unless there is something special. He said that he still has a lot of knowledge to learn, which sets an example for graduate students and young teachers in the echelon.
