According to the National Mathematical Modeling Competition for College Students, this competition is a large-scale scientific and technological competition jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Education, China Academy of Engineering and China Academy of Sciences, aiming at cultivating and selecting high-level mathematical modeling talents. According to our understanding, the winners of the national contest of mathematical modeling can get honorary certificates, bonuses and other awards issued by the organizers, while the unsuccessful winners usually don't get any official certificates.

Although the winner has no official certificate, it is a good opportunity to learn and exercise to participate in the national mathematical modeling competition. Participants need to extract mathematical models from practical problems, analyze and solve them by mathematical methods, and finally draw scientific and reasonable conclusions and suggestions.
