I think what a person doesn't like about a subject is that he doesn't get a sense of accomplishment from it.
Therefore, I think, if you want to learn math well, you should first study hard, suppress your dislike of it to the bottom of your heart, take notes carefully in class, spend more time on math every day, and don't ask your tutor to do extracurricular problems. First, lay a good foundation, stay awake in class, understand what will happen after class and stick to it. Your math will definitely improve. When you see that your efforts have not been in vain, you will be in math.
PS: I think it's very important to take notes in class. When I do the questions, I will write down the special questions that I think I can't pass the exam. Just review my notes before the exam.
