The school was founded in the 18th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1892) and was named Tian Ru Junior High School. In the 30th year of Guangxu (1904), Yuzhen Girls' Middle School was established. In the 31st year of the Republic of China (1942), Yuzhen Girls' Middle School was established and merged with Tian Ru Junior Middle School to form Tian Ru United Middle School. In the 36th year of the Republic of China (1947), the Tian Ru League was established separately. In 37 years (1948), Yuzhen Girls' Middle School was renamed Yuzhen Junior High School.
