Mathematics is a science that studies quantitative relations and spatial forms.
Students can master the basic knowledge, skills, thoughts and activities necessary to adapt to modern life and further study by studying compulsory education mathematics courses; Stimulate the interest in learning mathematics, develop the habit of independent thinking and the willingness to cooperate and communicate; Cultivate practical ability and innovative spirit, and form core literacy.
In the primary school stage, the core literacy is mainly manifested as: sense of number, sense of quantity, sense of symbol, calculation ability, geometric intuition, sense of space, sense of reasoning, sense of data, sense of model, sense of application and sense of innovation.
In junior high school, the core literacy is mainly manifested as abstract ability, computing ability, geometric intuition, spatial concept, reasoning ability, data concept, application consciousness and innovation consciousness.
The content of mathematics course consists of four learning fields: number and algebra, shape and geometry, statistics and probability, synthesis and practice.
