Not only physics, biology, chemistry, and even economics can use mathematics to build models, and then use models to express the principles of these disciplines.
In the discipline, factors lead to results, so a variable is used instead of factors, and some mathematical relations are obtained through research, comparison and induction among variables.
As long as all the variables are found, mathematics can express scientific principles. If there are variables that can't be found at all, or variables are too complicated, such as weather forecast, it is more difficult to solve them with models, but science is developing. One day, there will be a more complete way to express scientific principles.
