Chinese is a strong subject in our school. Over the years, the Chinese teaching in Cao Yang No.2 Middle School has had a great influence in the whole city. Students have won high awards in every national and city composition competition, ancient poetry competition and essay competition. Chemistry, mathematics, biology, English, physics and other disciplines also have strong advantages, and students have won numerous awards in national and city-wide competitions.

Caoyang No.2 Middle School is the experimental base for the first and second phase of curriculum reform in Shanghai.
