What basic knowledge do you need to learn quantum mechanics?
Quantum mechanics can be roughly divided into two categories, one is the differential analytic class represented by Schrodinger equation (wave function energy equation), and the other is the matrix mechanics represented by Heisenberg. In either case, the essence is the same. Obviously, the required mathematical knowledge includes: mathematical analysis (calculus), algebra (matrix theory), mathematical and physical equations (differential equations), complex variable functions and so on. The study of mathematics in quantum mechanics is the foundation.
