Site layout: convenient, loose and free.
At first, we put a console in the public area to let children operate in different areas. Due to the large number of people, narrow aisles, small and crowded space for children's activities and great mutual interference, it is imperative to optimize the environment.
To this end, we consider creating a flexible operating space, which does not occupy aisle space when idle, and can be flexibly placed and operated when children are active. After research, we decided to replace the console with a floor mat, which is convenient for children to find places at will in the operation area. This free and changeable environment is more conducive to mobilizing children's enthusiasm for operation and stimulating children's thinking and invention than the previous unchangeable host.
On the walls of public areas, we have arranged three-dimensional pictures related to mathematical contents, such as time, space, classification, conservation, sorting and so on. And put some corresponding operating materials on the shelf next to it, so that you can make full use of the environment around your child, turn the plane into a three-dimensional one, and turn visual stimuli into various stimuli. In order to prevent children from affecting others when picking up and putting materials, we drew a small foot route and a red route on the ground.
In this way, children can operate freely in a rich range without affecting each other.
