How to cultivate students' interest in calculation in primary school mathematics teaching
Mathematics, as an important teaching course in primary schools, is of great significance to students' future study and development. In the past, in the traditional primary school mathematics teaching class, teachers mostly used mechanical circulation tactics to cultivate students' computing ability, which not only ignored the summary of computing methods, but also made students lose interest in learning mathematics. With the implementation of the new curriculum reform, in the teaching process, most teachers tend to give priority to the teaching of calculation methods and let students play freely, which will limit the improvement of students' calculation ability to some extent.

First, the importance of cultivating students' computing ability

With the rapid development of education in China, there are clear requirements for education in all periods. In the current primary education, cultivating students' computing ability is an important teaching content, which needs teachers to implement in their daily work. Improving students' computing ability can not only consolidate students' mastery of basic mathematics knowledge, but also effectively exercise students' thinking ability. When students' computing ability is fully cultivated, their mathematical logic and computing ability will be significantly improved.

Second, the effective ways to cultivate students' computing ability in primary school mathematics teaching

(A) to cultivate students' interest in computing

Interest is the best teacher in the learning process. In the primary school mathematics teaching stage, to improve students' computing ability, we must first improve students' interest in learning, which is the first step of educational activities. In the daily mathematics teaching classroom, in order to stimulate students' interest in learning mathematics and let them master more effective calculation methods, research and innovation can be carried out from teaching and training methods. In the past, a large number of sea tactics were used in teaching, which inhibited the promotion of students' interest to a certain extent, so more comprehensive and diversified teaching methods can be adopted in the current teaching. When teaching the Law of Constant Quotient, there is an 8-paragraph oral arithmetic problem. I try my best to interest students in boring oral arithmetic problems. Improve students' participation and interest in learning by means of game competition and limited oral calculation. In addition, on the basis of paying attention to the diversification of training methods, teachers can link training topics with students' daily life, so that students can solve related calculation problems in their lives.

(B) to cultivate students' willingness to learn

Because of the special age of primary school students and their weak willpower and self-control, educational activities must be carried out in an orderly way for a long time. When students have a certain interest in mathematics learning, teachers should pay more attention to cultivating students' willpower in daily teaching, so that students can persist in learning activities and inject more motivation into learning with strong willpower, thus better improving their computing ability.

In daily mathematics teaching, after I finish the prescribed teaching content, I will expand the content according to the actual situation of students and complete effective after-school exercises. For example, after teaching the law of constant quotient, I worked out a simple operation of "350 ÷ 25,3000 ÷125", which enabled students to deepen their application of the law of constant quotient and virtually exercised their thinking expansion ability. After long-term training, it can not only effectively improve students' computing ability, but also cultivate students' firm willpower. In this teaching process, teachers should be good at discovering students' various problems, guiding students to solve them effectively, and transforming the complicated mathematical calculations in the past through diversified teaching methods, so that students' self-confidence in learning can be effectively enhanced.

(C) Pay attention to students' oral expression ability

In the process of cultivating the ability of mathematical calculation in primary schools, oral calculation is the basis of students' learning. Both simple addition and subtraction and elementary arithmetic are composed of many oral arithmetic problems. To a certain extent, the ability of oral calculation affects the development of students' computing ability. Therefore, teachers should formulate reasonable teaching principles in daily teaching, and improve students' oral calculation ability step by step.

In daily mathematics teaching, I often take the method of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division within 100 as the basic content of oral arithmetic teaching, so that students can have daily training exercises. When students can completely complete the basic teaching tasks, I will increase the teaching difficulty according to the students' actual situation, improve students' observation and reasoning ability of mathematical knowledge, and enhance students' practical ability to solve complex calculation problems.

(D) to cultivate students' estimation ability

Both estimation and oral calculation are one of the calculation methods that students need to master. After the students have mastered certain oral calculation ability, teachers need to cultivate students' estimation consciousness in teaching, so as to further improve students' thinking ability and master more comprehensive operational thinking and problem-solving methods. In the daily mathematics teaching classroom, teachers should integrate the thinking consciousness of estimation into all aspects of teaching, so that students can fundamentally master the laws of mathematical calculation and the correct thinking of solving problems, thus strengthening their own estimation ability. For example, a bucket can hold 4 kilograms of water. There are 23 kilograms of water now. How many barrels can you hold? Through this kind of estimation exercise, students can master the function of estimation in solving practical problems from daily life, so as to strengthen their attention, explore methods comprehensively and fundamentally improve their estimation ability.

(5) Cultivate students' good study habits.

Pupils often make all kinds of mistakes in the process of learning mathematical calculation. The main reason for the mistakes is that students are too careless to develop good study habits in their daily study. Therefore, in primary school mathematics teaching, teachers must guide students to form good calculation habits, which is of great significance to future study. In the usual practice, teachers can guide students to carry out the form of "one observation, two imagination and three calculations" to urge students to examine questions, make a comprehensive observation and analysis of all the information appearing in the questions, then determine the correct operation order, and finally answer questions with reasonable operation methods. In this process, teachers should guide and correct students' mistakes. After long-term development, students can form good study habits and their computing ability can be effectively improved.

In short, it is a long-term and important task to cultivate students' computing ability in the current primary school mathematics teaching. Teachers should realize the importance of cultivating computing ability from themselves, formulate more scientific and reasonable teaching methods according to the actual situation of students, fundamentally improve the computing ability of primary school students and lay a solid foundation for the all-round development of students in the future.
