Brief introduction to the content of economic applied mathematics
Economic Applied Mathematics is a textbook for the 11th Five-Year Plan of public basic courses in higher vocational colleges. Economic applied mathematics pays attention to the principle of "taking mathematics as the body and taking economy as the use" and focuses on "mastering concepts and strengthening application", which embodies the teaching characteristics of higher vocational colleges with application as the purpose and necessity and sufficiency as the degree. In view of the particularity of teaching in higher vocational colleges, the arrangement of economic applied mathematics curriculum system focuses on the characteristics of mathematics curriculum step by step, from shallow to deep, and circular learning. It mainly includes: preparatory knowledge, limit and continuity, calculus of one variable function, application of one variable calculus, introduction to differential equations and mathematical modeling, matrix algebra and linear equations, statistics and probability, and application of mathematical software. Economic applied mathematics can be used as a teaching material for economic management in higher vocational colleges and can also be used as a reference for economic managers.
