Three math problems
Suppose that X people are arranged to process part A and (85-x) people are arranged to process part B, so that the two parts processed every day can just match.

16x/2= 10(85-x)/3

8x= 10(85-x)/3

24x=850- 10x, 34x=850, x=25 (person), 85-x=60 (person).

A: Arrange 25 people to process A parts and 60 people to process B parts.

2.

(1) The whole journey time of tortoise is: 10000 ÷ 40 = 250, and that of rabbit is: 10000 ÷ 400 = 25.

250-25=225

If rabbits don't want to lose to turtles, they can only sleep for 225 minutes at most.

1.5 hours =90 minutes

Let time be x, then the equation is: 40X+40*90=400X.

Find X= 10.

Distance = 400 * 10 = 4000m.
