Research curriculum collocation
Study which course best meets personal interests and university discipline requirements. If students are not sure which course they are interested in, think about what they don't want to learn. Recommended collocation is as follows:
Economic Related: Mathematics, Economics, Geography, Mathematics
Psychology related: mathematics, biology, psychology, sociology.
Design related: art history, photography, industrial design, English literature.
Don't limit your choices.
It is important to take into account the specific knowledge and skills that need to be acquired in each subject. These skills can usually span multiple disciplines and provide more choices for degree promotion. Some universities require the most frequent and flexible subjects: mathematics, English literature, physics, biology, chemistry, geography, history, language (classical and modern). It is worth considering including one or more of these courses in the selection.
Consider the breadth of the course.
Try to avoid obvious overlap when choosing courses. For example, economics is similar to business studies. Unless students want to develop in this field, they can choose one.
Play to their strengths
If students like thesis writing and research, then thesis-based courses can demonstrate communication and analytical skills and critical thinking. Science subjects can demonstrate logical thinking and reasoning ability, as well as establish a familiarity with scientific principles. Students can choose courses that can give full play to their specialties.
