1) Mathematics:
Invented by ancient Indians * Arabic numerals: 10 Numeric symbols including zero. They also invented counting.
(The number 10 was spread to Europe by Arabs and is called Arabic numerals. )
2) Buddhism:
Buddhism originated in India in the 6th century BC and was founded by Gautama Siddharta (known as Buddha or Sakyamuni). Buddhism advocates "the equality of all beings" and opposes the hierarchy of Brahmanism. In the 3rd century BC, when Ashoka was in power, Buddhism developed and spread widely.
3) Ajanta Grottoes:
Ancient Indian Buddhist art sites. It is located in the Maha Lastra, on Mount Wendia, facing the Govala River. It began in the 2nd century BC and lasted until the middle of the 7th century. There are 30 caves (including one unfinished cave). It is 550 meters long from east to west, and all of them are excavated on the cliff surface within the range of 10 to 30 meters from the ground. Except for the five caves (No.9, 10, 19, No.26 and No.29), they are all Buddhist temples.
