Information of China Mathematical Olympic National Training Team
On March 15, 2005, China Mathematical Olympic Training Camp was held in the Information Center of Northeast Yucai School! Wu Jianping, Deputy Director of China Mathematical Olympic Committee and China Mathematical Popularization Committee; Professor Xiong Bin, head coach of China Mathematical Olympics; Zhou Haobo, Deputy Director of Liaoning Provincial Department of Education; Yu, Vice Chairman of Liaoning Science and Technology Association; Yan Guo, Director of Basic Education Department of Liaoning Provincial Department of Education; Chen, director of Liaoning Youth Science and Technology Activity Center; Wang Ling, Vice Mayor of Shenyang; Bai Changhong, Deputy Secretary General of Shenyang Municipal Government; Li, director of Shenyang Education Bureau, attended the opening ceremony. Also present at the opening ceremony were the coaching staff of the Chinese Mathematical Olympic Committee; Full member of the national training team; 18 senior high school students of Mathematical Olympiad Cooperation School; Excellent students in the winter camp of Mathematical Olympiad.

Liaoning TV, Liaoning Education TV, Shenyang TV, Shenyang Daily, shenyang evening news and many other media reported the event.

It is reported that the students who have won the top places in the national mathematical leagues can only become members of the training team after the strict selection of the final winner of the Mathematical Olympic Winter Camp, so they can be called the top masters in the field of mathematics for middle school students in China. In this training, the team members will receive 20 days of intensive training from national coaches. After eight tests, six of the 32 contestants will be selected to represent China in the 46th International Mathematical Olympiad.

This year is the ninth time for China to participate in the International Mathematical Olympiad, and it is also the fifth time for Northeast Yucai School to undertake Olympic Mathematics training. As an experimental school for gifted education, 1989 Northeast Yucai School offers intensive mathematics classes, focusing on the cultivation of students' mathematical thinking methods and the improvement of their mathematical ability. In 2003, under the guidance of the idea of "revitalizing the Northeast and serving Liaoning" and with the strong support of the Liaoning Provincial Department of Education, Northeast Yucai School further expanded the training of top-notch talents in science and established the Liaoning Science Experimental Class. Northeast Yucai School has accumulated rich experience in selecting and cultivating outstanding students in science for many years, focusing on cultivating science talents in Liaoning Province.

Nowadays, the students of Northeast Yucai School have shown their talents in various fields and made great achievements in academic competitions for middle school students at home and abroad. Won 125 medals in the national middle school students' academic competition, with a total of 32 gold medals. Won 2 1 medal in the international academic competition for middle school students. During the period of 1994, students from Northeast Yucai School won the gold medal in the international Olympic Games for the first time, which achieved a breakthrough in Liaoning's participation in the international Olympic Games. So far, Liaoning Province has won 8 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 1 bronze medals in the international Olympic Games, all from Northeast Yucai School.

In 2000, Northeast Yucai School was designated as the "China Mathematical Olympic Training Base" because of its outstanding achievements in mathematics competition, and successfully completed the training task of the national training team for four consecutive years. In the International Mathematical Olympiad, every China team won the first place. Therefore, the education in Northeast China is known as the blessed land of Chinese Mathematical Olympics! I sincerely wish that in 2005, the Chinese Mathematical Olympic team coming out of Yucai in Northeast China will win new honors for the motherland.
