Everyone's compulsory course is:

Advanced mathematics (several selected students study mathematical analysis, and all freshmen study it),

Linear algebra,

Computer Foundation (except Computer College),

C language or C++ (some colleges learn C, others learn C++, but they all have to learn one),

Military theory (some freshmen, some seniors),

Ideological and moral cultivation and legal basis (open book at the end of the term, freshman),

Modern history (an abnormal closed-book exam at the end of the term, which requires memory and amplification),
