The Ministry of Education requires that the names of examination subjects in all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) are the same as those in the national unified examination, and must be consistent with the national unified examination schedule.

The subjects who take the exam are generally full-time ordinary high school graduates and China citizens with equivalent education.
