(1) The sum of the areas of two shaded parts in the diagram is the area of two small semicircles+the area of triangle-the area of semicircle:

π*(6/2)2+π*(8/2)2+ triangle area -π * (10/2) 2

= triangle area+π * (3 2+4 2-5 2)

= triangle area +π*(9+ 16-25)

= triangle area

=6*8/2

=24

(2) From (1), the sum of the areas of the two shaded parts is equal to the area of △ABC.
