ACSL provides a competition platform for primary and secondary school students from all over the world in the field of computer science. ACSL has been established for forty-five years, and its long history and world-renowned academic recognition have attracted outstanding talents from all over the world to sign up for the competition. Last year, more than 700 teams from the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia participated in the competition.
According to different ages and ability levels, ACSL provides different competition groups for contestants to test students' understanding and application of basic concepts of computer science. The senior group competition also includes the ability to solve problems using Python, C++ or Java programming.
Ranking of gold content in mathematical model competition
The first place is the national competition, the full name of which is "Higher Education Club Cup", and the national mathematical modeling competition for college students (in the first half of September every year).
In terms of the number and quality of teams, this is the biggest mathematical modeling competition. In recent years, about 40,000-50,000 teams have participated every year, covering most of our college. It is also the mathematical model competition with the highest gold content. Ranked in the top five in the ranking list of college students' competitions, second only to internet plus, Challenge Cup and ACM. Most schools are very recognized, and both textual research and comprehensive evaluation can add points. Even a few schools can directly obtain the qualification of scientific research protection if they win national awards.
The national competition lasted for three days and nights, with five questions, including three questions A, B and C for undergraduates and two questions D and E for junior college students. Judging from the winning rate, the first prize is about 0.7%, and the second prize is less than 3%. Provincial awards vary from province to province, ranging from 20% to 50%.
