Jiangsu Higher Mathematics Competition is a competition activity sponsored by Jiangsu Higher Mathematics Teaching Research Association with the approval of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education. It aims to promote the construction and reform of advanced mathematics courses, stimulate college students' interest in learning advanced mathematics and cultivate their ability to analyze and solve problems. The competition has been held for 12 times so far. The 13th Jiangsu Higher Mathematics Competition will be held on May 28th, 20th16th. The relevant matters of the contest are hereby notified as follows:

1. Qualification:

Non-mathematics undergraduates of grade 20 14 and grade 20 15 who study advanced mathematics in our school;

The competition is divided into five categories: undergraduate level 1, undergraduate level 2, undergraduate level 3, undergraduate level 4 and junior college.

The students in our school mainly participate in the third year of undergraduate course.

Second, the examination content

The undergraduate examination questions are based on the Basic Requirements of Higher Mathematics Teaching formulated by the Steering Committee of Mathematics and Statistics Course of the Ministry of Education.

The proportion of basic questions is not less than 50%, and the rest will reflect: (1) the characteristics of quality education; (2) the characteristics of the competition questions; (3) Mathematics and application (excluding problems that cannot solve unique modeling types); (4) Mathematical thinking method and logical reasoning. The test questions should be graded so that the grades of the scores can be opened. Details are as follows:

Undergraduate level 1 and undergraduate level 2: unary and multivariate calculus, spatial analytic geometry, polynomial series and power series.

Undergraduate level 3: one-dimensional calculus, multiple differential calculus and double integral.

Undergraduate level 4: one-dimensional calculus, multiple differential calculus, double integral and spatial analytic geometry.

Third, the competition time.

Competition time in the whole province: Saturday, May 28th, 2006 at 8: 30am-11:30am;

Location of the whole province: Jiulong Lake Campus of Southeast University

Fourth, announce the results of the competition.

The winners will be announced at the end of June 20 16, and the winners' certificates will be issued by the organizing Committee of the provincial competition in September 20 16.
