Online equation drawing-how to draw a given equation in EXCEL
Is there any useful software for drawing images of functions and equations? I usually use Origin, which is more convenient and can meet your requirements.

Extended data:

Origin is a scientific drawing and data analysis software developed by OriginLab, which supports running under MicrosoftWindows. Origin supports various 2D/3D graphics.

The data analysis functions in Origin include statistics, signal processing, curve fitting and peak analysis. The curve fitting in Origin adopts the nonlinear least square method based on Levernberg-Marquardt algorithm (LMA). Origin's powerful data import function supports various formats of data, including ASCII, Excel, NITDM, DIADem, NetCDF, SPC, etc. Graphic output formats are diverse, such as JPEG, GIF, EPS, TIFF, etc. The built-in query tool can access database data through ADO.

I am an expert on how to draw equations in EXCEL. ...

Please refer to an article I wrote. I can't show any images here ... it's annoying.

When describing the relationship between dependent variables and independent variables, we usually use three methods to describe it: list method, mirror method and function method. Image method can visually reflect the relationship between dependent variables and independent variables, but some function images are difficult to draw, such as some functions encountered in the process of studying physical problems. Here is an example to introduce the method of drawing images when solving physical problems with Excel.

Problems to be solved

As shown in figure 1, the power supply ε=6V and r = 3Ω. How does the output power of power supply change with the change of external circuit resistance R?

Figure 1

Solution: For a pure resistance circuit, there is a formula as shown in Figure 2. According to the formula, when R = r = 3Ω, the output power of the power supply is the largest.

Figure 2

In order to deepen students' understanding, the functional relationship between P and R should also be expressed in the form of images, but the formula shown in Figure 2 is not a special function. In order to draw the image of this function accurately, Excel is needed.

Image drawing method

1. Create a worksheet

It is named "the functional relationship between resistance and power".

input data

(1) Enter "EMF" in A 1 and "6" in A2, and drag it down at the filling handle until A 1 is filled.

(2) Enter "internal resistance" in B 1, enter "3" in B2, and drag it down at the filling handle until it reaches B6 1.

(3) Enter "external resistance" in C 1, "0" in C2, "0. 15" in C3, select C2 and C3, and drag down at fill handle. For each subsequent row, the cell will automatically add 0. 15 until C6 1. At this time,

3. Enter the function formula

(1) Input and output power in D 1.

(2) Enter the formula "= A2 * A2/((C2-B2) * (C2-B2)/C2)+4 * B2" in D2.

(3) Enter the formula and press enter, and "#DIV/0!" Will appear in D2. Ignore it (because when R=0, the denominator is 0), and drag it down at fill handle until D6 1 (as shown in Figure 3).

Draw an image

(1) Select C 1~C6 1 and D 1~D6 1, click Insert in the menu, select the chart and open the chart wizard dialog box.

(2) Select "XY Scatter Chart" in the chart wizard dialog box, then select "Smooth Line Scatter Chart with Countless Data Points", and click [Next].

(3) After completion, the image shown in Figure 4 is obtained.

Organize pictures

Don't think that with images, the work is finished. In order to have a good effect, we have to spend a lot of effort to modify the image. Here are some key links:

(1) For convenience, copy and paste the image into "sheet2" and enlarge it slightly.

(2) Right-click the blank area of the image to pop up the dialog box, and select the chart option to pop up the chart option dialog box. Enter the meaning of the image and coordinate axis in the Title tab (as shown in Figure 5), and select all major and minor Grid Lines in the grid lines tab.

Figure 5

(3) Right-click the drawing area, select the drawing area format, and select None in the area, so that you can get an image without shading.

(4) Move the cursor to the image, right-click, select "Data Series Format", and select the appropriate line type in the "Pattern" column. In order to make it easier for students to see clearly, the thickest line shape is chosen and the color is black, so that a more eye-catching image can be obtained.

(5) The relationship between power output and external circuit resistance is visually reflected. When R = r = 3Ω, the output power of the power supply is the largest, but the important "3" does not appear when looking at the horizontal axis coordinates. We need to do the following:

Move the cursor to the horizontal axis (as shown in Figure 6), right-click, select the axis format command, select the scale tab in the pop-up dialog box, and change the values of major scale unit and minor scale unit from 2 to 1 and from 0.4 to 0.5 respectively.

Figure 6

Limited to space, this article only gives one example. If you think carefully, you will find that many physical problems can be drawn in this way, so that students can understand physical knowledge intuitively. Of course, this drawing method is not only suitable for studying physical problems, but also suitable for chemical problems and mathematical problems.

How to use equation function to draw in Excel can first input a group of independent variables, and then get the function value through the formula. Just insert two lines of data into the icon as the data source, which is suitable for all functional equations that can write formulas. The specific steps are as follows:

1. Take the quadratic function Y = 0.5x 2+2x+3.5 as an example, write the coefficients A, B and C respectively for easy modification, and enter the value of the independent variable X, from-10 to10;

2. Enter the formula "= $ E $2 * B4 * B4+$ F $2 * $ B $4+G2" for the quadratic function in cell B5;

3. Enter the formula and get the calculation result;

4. Place the mouse in the lower right corner of B5 cell and drag the fill handle to get all the corresponding Y values;

5. select all the values in the x and y lines, click insert > scatter plot, and select scatter plot with smooth lines;

6. Get the quadratic function image directly, and the effect is as follows.
