On April 8th, 2006, the grand opening ceremony of the Museum of Primary Education was held in the resplendent Wan Li International Primary School. Experts in the field of primary school mathematics in Hong Kong and Taiwan and colleagues from all over the country gathered together. The guests at the meeting, including the leaders of Ningbo Education Bureau, witnessed this historical moment together.
The Primary School Museum was initiated by Qiu Xuehua, a famous primary school mathematics educator, with the full support of Zhejiang Wan Li Education Group. After a year's efforts, Wan Li Primary School has built the first primary school mathematics museum in China and even the world. It is of great significance to collect and keep precious primary school mathematics education materials for the country and promote the research and international exchange of primary school mathematics education in China.
