Zhang Jingzhong, a computer scientist and mathematician of China Academy of Sciences, 1936, was born in Runan, Henan. 1959 graduated from the Department of Mathematical Mechanics of Peking University. From 65438 to 0979, he taught at China University of Science and Technology, and later served as director of Chengdu Mathematical and Physical Science Research Office of China Academy of Sciences, deputy director, honorary director and doctoral supervisor of Chengdu Institute of Computer Application, dean of Computer College of Sichuan Normal University, director of Institute of Educational Software of Guangzhou University, director of China Mathematical Society, director of China Computer Federation and chairman of China Popular Science Writers Association.
