I am a senior majoring in applied mathematics. The basic courses of mathematics major are mathematical analysis and advanced algebra, which usually take two years to study, so we must master them firmly. Then: analytic geometry, advanced geometry, differential geometry, myopia algebra, ordinary differential equations, partial differential equations, event functions, complex variable functions, probability theory, mathematical statistics, operational research, calculation methods, general physics and so on. Of course, different schools have different specialized courses.
Also, mathematics majors should be divided into applied mathematics, computational mathematics and basic mathematics from the beginning. You'd better choose applied mathematics. Everything else is too abstract unless you want to be a mathematician.
Graduate students are generally divided into applied mathematics, computational mathematics, probability theory, operational research and cybernetics. There will still be differences between different schools.
I hope you are satisfied.
