How to Integrate Picture Book Reading into Children's Life
(A) to create a rich reading environment, so that picture books into our daily lives.

1. Put books and books in the math area, provide math picture books and exquisite books, and ensure that children can freely choose a certain time to read every week and change reading materials every month.

2. Set up a small book box in the classroom, carry out "book drifting" activities, and share valuable picture books with parents.

3. Conduct a "bookworm" talent exchange once a month. Children will express their reading content through situational performances, storytelling, sketches and stories, so as to create a relaxed, pleasant and harmonious reading environment for children, let them learn to choose freely and boldly, cultivate their independent consciousness and enjoy the happiness of individual freedom.

(B) combined with "look at pictures and talk" to carry out teaching, so that picture book reading can be integrated into collective mathematics teaching.

1. Find the teaching content.

We will try our best to explore the mathematical resources in picture book reading, analyze and discuss, correctly locate, grasp the key and difficult points, practice in peacetime teaching, and conduct reflective analysis in class according to our own experience and familiarity.

2. Create reading situations

(1) "Playing" Mathematics in the Game Situation

Creating a gamification teaching situation with picture book stories can not only help children master mathematics knowledge and skills easily, but also "create emotions with situations", which can help children better experience the emotions in mathematics content and make the original boring and abstract mathematics knowledge lively and interesting.

(2) "thinking" about mathematics in problem situations

Be good at using all kinds of problem scenarios set in picture books to let children think, and explore and try through operation, experiment and sensory application to gain direct experience and get answers by themselves.

(3) "Doing" mathematics in the operating situation

According to the story of picture books, we can create operational situations to guide children to perceive, explore, discover, understand and apply mathematical concepts and laws, so that children can gain rich mathematical perceptual experience in active hands-on, brain thinking and speech activities.

(3) Mastering correct reading skills so that children's reading experience can be applied to real life.

1. Learn to read by page number. Because the children in the big class are familiar with the Arabic numerals 1~ 10, we should first teach them to read books in the order of page numbers, so that they can master the reading methods and get into the habit.

2. Learn to read from left to right and from top to bottom. In the process of reading, children personally feel that books are composed of pages, and stories are read one by one, in order to know the content of stories.

3. Improve children's understanding. Guide children to learn to observe the phenomenon of people and animals in each picture and understand the relationship between the pictures before and after.

4. Create and make use of various environments to provide various conditions for children to apply their reading experience to real life.
