How to measure the height of ginkgo tree in sixth grade mathematics
Take a stick, stand upright on the ground, measure the shadow length of the tree and the stick respectively, then measure the length of the stick and measure the height of the tree in proportion.

The grafted bud of ginkgo tree is actually a short branch. Except for the terminal bud, the branches from the grafted bud are oblique, so the height of the grafted part of ginkgo tree is also the fixed stem height. After other fruit trees are dried, about 30cm under the cutting of the moon is used as a plastic belt, while ginkgo trees grow big branches by terminal buds, so the dry height of ginkgo trees is also the trunk height.

The trunk height of ginkgo trees varies with seedling trees and grafted trees. The grafting height of ginkgo tree is the trunk height, and the growth height below the lowest branch of ginkgo tree is the trunk height.

growing environment

Wild Ginkgo biloba is born in natural forest, acidic yellow soil (pH 5-5.5) and well-drained area at an altitude of 500- 1000 meters, and is often mixed with coniferous and broad-leaved trees such as Cryptomeria fortunei, Torreya grandis and Orchidaceae, and grows vigorously.

Ginkgo biloba is a light-loving tree with deep roots and wide adaptability to climate and soil. It can grow in areas with high temperature, rainy, little rainfall and cold winter, but it grows slowly or badly. It can grow on acidic soil (pH 4.5), calcareous soil (pH 8) and neutral soil, but it is not tolerant to saline-alkali and over-wet soil.

Born below the altitude of 1000 (Yunnan 1500-2000) meters, the climate is warm and humid, the annual precipitation is 700- 1500 mm, the soil layer is deep, fertile and humid, the areas with good drainage grow best, the soil is barren and dry, and the places with excessively wet rock slopes will not survive or grow badly.
