The provincial competition is a unified award in the whole province. * * * Provincial prizes are divided into four categories: grand prize (only for grades 3-6), first prize, second prize and third prize. In the provincial competition, the winner of the special prize is the student who ranks first in the total score of grades 3-6 in each province. The winning proportion of the first, second and third prizes in each province is: 5% of the first prize, 0/5% of the second prize/kloc-,35% of the third prize, and the comprehensive winning rate is 55%. Award-winning students are eligible to participate in WMO national general assessment, and special prize students can participate in WMO national general assessment for free. The first prize in the provincial competition has a high gold content, and the international competition has a very high gold content.
The World Meteorological Organization is an international activity. It was first introduced to China in 2009. It was originally the World Olympic Games, one of the four major cups in Wuhan. After the Olympic Games were banned, it became a WMO seminar on mathematical innovation. WMO is divided into local competitions (provincial competitions), China Finals and international competitions (Asian Classic+Global Finals), which are for students in grades three to nine.
