With the approval of the Ministry of Education, Sichuan Province has used the national unified examination paper for college entrance examination since 20 16.

The unified entrance examination of Chinese, mathematics (including liberal arts mathematics and science mathematics), foreign languages, liberal arts synthesis (politics, history and geography) and science synthesis (physics, chemistry and biology) in Sichuan Province will all use the unified examination paper of the Ministry of Education.

The national examination of foreign language subjects includes listening part. From 20 17, Sichuan college entrance examination resumed the foreign language listening test simultaneously.

The vast majority of provinces in China use the proposition papers of the National Examination Center. Due to the participation of most provinces, the national volume of the new curriculum standard began to be divided into one volume, two volumes and three volumes. Anhui, Hubei, Fujian, Hunan, Shanxi, Hebei, Jiangxi, Guangdong, Henan and Shandong all use English in the whole country. Gansu, Qinghai, Tibet, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Ningxia, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, Chongqing and Hainan adopt the National Volume II; Comprehensive Chinese language and literature in Guangxi, Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan, using national volume III.
