In recent years, with the expansion of the scale of higher education, highlighting practical activities has become an urgent requirement for the teaching reform of higher education. The cultivation of talents has changed from focusing on knowledge education to focusing on the cultivation of ability and innovative talents. This is also the fundamental reason why mathematical modeling competition is more and more popular with students and valued by schools and teachers.

The brilliant achievements of China athletes have greatly stimulated the enthusiasm of millions of middle school students to learn scientific and cultural knowledge, and also greatly enhanced the national pride of the people of China.

Competition mathematics can't develop independently without the existing branch of mathematics, otherwise it will become passive water, so it is often written by experts in some fields. For example, Shan Zun, an excellent coach of China delegation who participated in the International Mathematical Olympics, is an expert in number theory.
