Design intent

This activity involves comparing the number of two groups of objects (less than 5) that children often contact and use. Children around the age of three use bowls and spoons most when eating, so at the beginning of the activity, I let the children compare bowls and spoons themselves. Children will put spoons into bowls or one-to-one correspondence between spoons and bowls according to their own life experience, so that children can easily master two methods of comparing the number of objects on the basis of their own exploration. After the children have mastered these two methods, practice according to the operation and give each child a chance to operate. After the children finished operating the school tools, I designed a small game to consolidate it. In this way, children will learn the content of this activity better on the basis of their own interests. This activity better embodies the teaching method that children are the main body and teachers are only guiding.

moving target

1, guide children to try to explore the number of two groups of objects by themselves (less than 5).

2. Let children discover the arrangement rules of objects in exploration activities.

3. Willing to participate in group activities.

The activity focuses on guiding children to master two methods of comparing the number of objects, overlapping and corresponding, and will compare the number of objects between the two groups (less than 5).

Children with mobility difficulties try to find two ways to compare the number of objects by themselves.
