There is no good way to learn math English! Tell me how you succeeded!
First of all, I want to say that our time to learn English is limited, so learning should be purposeful. If you are a middle school student and set the short-term goal of learning English as the college entrance examination, then you need to spend more time mastering the teaching materials. If you are a college student or graduate student and want to take CET-4, TOEFL and GRE, then mastering a large number of words is the first condition. Only by using the limited time on the cutting edge can we get the greatest benefit. As a language, English has a lot in common with another language-Chinese. Maybe we can't learn English as skillfully as Chinese all our lives, but many methods we learn Chinese are worth learning from. Although many languages are very different, they are all similar elements, such as the basic unit of language (words, phrases or words), the rules that constrain language (grammar), and some special cases formed in history (proverbs, slang, poems, etc.). Mastering these elements basically means mastering the usage of a language. When I was a child, I learned some basic words, such as apples, cats and dogs, which we often see when we can't speak. With the accumulation of words, parents and teachers began to teach some grammar rules in kindergarten. After learning the necessary vocabulary and basic grammar rules, we can have a simple Chinese conversation at this time. In primary school, we studied grammar systematically, and with the application of daily life, we have become very proficient in daily Chinese. We learn English because we start late and have less opportunities to exercise. When we graduate from university, it will be great if our mastery of English can reach the level of our primary school graduation language. Through the analysis of our own learning Chinese, we can find that there are several points worthy of our attention: first, the accumulation of words. There is a saying that a clever woman can't cook without rice. If you don't know how to say something in English, it's hard for you to make yourself understood. Although there are many words in our middle school textbooks and college textbooks, they are not enough on the whole, just as the words in our Chinese textbooks are only a small part of the vocabulary used in our daily life. For example, there is the word "clothes" in English textbooks, but the details are omitted. For example, sweaters, suits, suits and jerseys are all expressed by different words. You can only learn how to say "clothes" in textbooks, and the specific words of various clothes need to be obtained from extracurricular reading. My experience is to look up more English-Chinese dictionaries, not only to use words you don't understand, but also to memorize dictionaries when you have time. If you think this method is boring, you can choose some English novels or popular science books to read. For example, you can buy many famous English literary works in China. It is better to write novels in recent decades, which can better reflect the development of modern English, such as The Godfather. When reading these novels, we should pay attention to the fact that the plot is secondary, mainly to write down words and sentences that we don't understand. If you want to surf the Internet, you can browse the websites of some American newspapers, such as The New York Times, Washington post and The Wall Street Journal. The English in these websites is the English that Americans use in their daily lives now. Besides words, there is also grammar. For us, it is enough for middle school to learn grammar in English textbooks. The key is to master it skillfully. When we make sentences in English, we often wonder if the word order and tense are wrong. But when we use Chinese, there is no such thing at all. It seems that it came out of our mouths without thinking, and there is nothing wrong. The difference here is that we are so familiar with Chinese. After countless conditioned reflex trainings, it is difficult to make mistakes. The same is true of learning English grammar, which requires high-intensity training. As long as you still make mistakes in English grammar, it means that this kind of training is not enough, and you must form a conditioned reflex to become a teacher. This kind of training is not enough just by reading textbooks and novels. You must speak more and write more. In other words, you should force yourself to make more sentences in English, instead of just watching how others write. According to my own experience, I often recite English and pay attention to grammar when reading novels, but the effect is still very small. Only by speaking more and writing more can we really improve our English expression ability. By mastering words and grammar, we learned basic English. Of course, if you want to master both Chinese and English, you have to work hard all your life. This involves many details, such as some common sayings and slang, as well as the mastery of language sense and language beauty. If we live in an English-speaking environment, we can gradually understand these. Generally speaking, you should have certain language knowledge and language ability. I often hear people say "my English listening is not good", "I can't read well" or "my writing ability is not high" and so on. Admittedly, there are many factors that affect the development of ability, but we must first ask ourselves, "How big is my vocabulary?" "How systematic is my grammar knowledge?" My personal experience is that the breakthrough point of improving English quickly in the near future is to surprise words and grammar well, and on this basis, intensive training to improve my ability will certainly achieve twice the result with half the effort. The above is what I thought when I reviewed my personal experience in learning English. It will help you, or remind you to think about your purpose and method of learning English, which will play a role in attracting jade, and I will feel great happiness.
