In 2024, the college entrance examination in Guizhou Province will adopt "3+ 1+2" mode. Among them, "3" is the three national unified college entrance examination subjects of Chinese, mathematics and foreign languages; 1 is the preferred subject, and physics and history candidates must choose 1 as the preferred examination subject; "2" is a re-examination subject, and candidates can choose two of the four subjects of chemistry, biology, ideology and politics and geography as re-examination subjects.
Candidates can reasonably determine elective subjects according to their hobbies and specialties, combined with the requirements of colleges and majors (classes) for elective subjects.
The first and second volunteer parts of "1+2" are divided into four categories: each enrollment major (category) chooses 1, 2, 3 or "no subject requirements" from six subjects: physics, history, ideology and politics, geography, chemistry and biology.
Choosing the major of 1 means that candidates must take this subject; Choosing 2 or 3 majors means that candidates must take 2 or 3 subjects at the same time; "Don't mention subject requirements" means that candidates can apply for any 3 subjects in the first and second choice subjects according to the rules.
The requirements for the selected subjects of the enrollment major (category) announced this time will be applicable from the time of enrollment in the college entrance examination in 2024, for the reference of ordinary high school students who enter the first year of high school after 20021.
Due to the adjustment of departments and majors (categories) in colleges and universities, the colleges and majors (categories) actually enrolled may be adjusted and changed. The actual enrollment majors (categories) and plans of colleges and universities are subject to the enrollment regulations and enrollment plans actually announced in 2024, and the Guizhou Provincial Admissions Examination Institute will announce them in time.
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education, the requirements for the subjects selected for enrollment majors (classes) are determined by colleges and universities according to the newly revised "Guidelines for the Requirements of Undergraduate Enrollment Majors in Ordinary Colleges and Universities (General Edition)" issued by the Ministry of Education in 2002/KLOC-0, combined with their own educational orientation and professional training objectives.
Due to different training requirements, the same major may have different requirements for examination selection in different universities. Once the requirements of elective courses for enrollment majors in colleges and universities are announced, they shall not be changed without authorization. If there are no major adjustments and changes, no annual preparation will be organized.
