In 2022, Guangxi Beihai Junior High School Academic Level Examination is the final examination in compulsory education stage, which is the basis for students to reach the graduation standard of compulsory education, and also an important basis for high school enrollment. Junior high school students who have obtained formal school status can voluntarily take the junior high school level examination.

In 2022, Guangxi Beihai Junior High School Academic Level Examination (including junior high school graduation examination and junior high school entrance examination) will implement the "two-in-one examination", including written examination, physical education and health examination and experimental skill operation examination.

Ninth-grade candidates must take written tests and physical education and health tests in seven subjects, including Chinese, mathematics, English, physics, chemistry, morality and rule of law, and history, to examine the operation of experimental skills; Eighth-grade candidates only take the written examination of biology and geography.
