How to make students learn to listen in math class
The new curriculum standard requires students to learn to listen. Listening is an important way for students to collect information and acquire knowledge, and it is also a manifestation of respecting others. Teaching fourth grade mathematics this year is really a challenge for me who has been teaching sixth grade all the year round. Students are young and it is difficult to concentrate. In the first week of school, after each class, they all felt very tired. Many children don't attend classes, and they often start to wander and make small moves after a few minutes of concentration in class. Later, I asked the teachers I had taught in middle school in the office, and learned ingenious methods from them and put them in my own classroom. Slowly, there are more people listening carefully in the classroom, the classroom efficiency is also high, and my mood is gradually getting better.

18 On the afternoon of September, 20 13 quality analysis meeting attended by all math teachers was held in the conference room on the third floor of the school. In view of the central topic of "cultivating students' listening habits", teachers of various teaching and research groups have spoken in succession and talked about how they did it. After listening to everyone's speeches, I benefited a lot. Let's talk about how to let students take math classes in combination with our own classroom and everyone's practice in the past month.

In order for students to learn to listen to the teacher, besides preparing lessons, making full preparations before class and enhancing their teaching charm, I think it is very necessary for fourth-grade children to praise, motivate and set an example. Children are young and especially like teachers' praise, so flexible, scientific and reasonable incentive evaluation can effectively strengthen the cultivation of listening habits. In class, evaluate the students' listening situation like this: for example, "You listen most carefully." "You not only understand other people's speeches, but also add your own ideas. It's amazing! " "You have found such a small difference, and your hearing is really amazing!" Such specific language motivation makes students taste the joy of success and get the satisfaction of success.

Besides setting a positive listening example, Mr. Guo Weihua said that children who don't listen carefully in class can also be encouraged by "anti-praise". I think this method is also very feasible, especially for children with bad habits. Praise is better than criticism. When he didn't listen carefully, the teacher praised him instead of criticizing him. He will feel embarrassed and concentrate. I intend to use this method in future classroom teaching.

In addition, teachers must be full of energy, the language should be lively and interesting, and choose the appropriate pronunciation, intonation and speaking speed. Although it is a math class, sometimes the intonation should be cadenced. You can speak a little faster where students can understand, and speak a little slower and with a slightly higher intonation in key and difficult places. This can better drive students to participate in learning activities together.

Learning to listen carefully is not only a habit, but also an exercise of will. As long as each of our teachers regards it as an important course, I believe that children's listening awareness will be enhanced.
