Reflections on how to cultivate junior middle school students' mathematics core literacy
Abstract: Core literacy is an important content of contemporary basic education. Establishing the core literacy system and enhancing the awareness of schools and teachers to cultivate students' core literacy are the requirements of the development of society and times for education and teaching. Therefore, all subjects in junior high school need to focus on the core literacy of the subject, pay attention to cultivating students' core literacy in the daily teaching process, and improve students' academic ability and level, so does junior high school mathematics teaching. Math teachers need to pay more attention to how to cultivate junior high school students' math core literacy in the daily teaching process, how to make students have good application consciousness, calculation ability and reasoning ability through middle school math classroom learning, and so on. Therefore, based on the previous mathematics teaching experience, this paper analyzes and explores how to cultivate students' core literacy through junior high school mathematics teaching, and provides some help for the optimal development of middle school mathematics teaching.

As a necessary accomplishment for middle school students' future study and life, core literacy plays a great role in helping students better adapt to the changes of the times and social development and improve their learning level and learning ability. The cultivation of core literacy is also particularly important in middle school mathematics classroom teaching. It requires mathematics teachers not only to teach students the basic knowledge and skills of mathematics, but also to pay attention to the core literacy of mathematics, the required literacy and the literacy that can be cultivated in these knowledge and contents. Only in this way can we really improve the quality of students' learning mathematics and give full play to the role of junior high school mathematics in education.
