American Mathematics Competition 8

AMC8 is an American junior high school math competition, which is a math subject test for students below grade eight. Some outstanding students from grade four to grade six in primary schools can also participate. The competition starts from 1985 and is held on a Tuesday in mid-June every year.

The content of AMC8 competition corresponds to the mathematics syllabus of grades 7 and 8 in the United States, including (but not limited to) integers, fractions, decimals, percentages, proportions, number theory, daily geometry, area, volume, probability statistics, logical reasoning, etc.

The American Mathematical Association (MAA) held the AMC8 competition to increase students' interest in mathematics and the quantity of learning through such an attractive examination.
