Teaching quality is the lifeline of a school and an important indicator to measure the level of running a school. We adhere to the concept of "survival by quality", always put teaching at the center of school work, and comprehensively improve teaching quality.

1. Carry out the Party's educational policy and earnestly implement the national teaching plan and curriculum standards.

On the one hand, the school strives to set up all courses and classes, forming a discipline and activity curriculum system, and pays special attention to the development of comprehensive practical activity courses based on information technology courses, including research-based learning, community service and labor technology education. At the same time, we incorporate the second classroom, health education, environmental education and class meeting into the curriculum.

In recent two years, we are exploring the development of school-based curriculum. There are abundant educational resources around the school, including the patriotic education base nuclear power station, Shenzhen youth holiday camp, and Gupengcheng, a national key cultural relics protection unit. In particular, Gupengcheng, a national key cultural relics protection unit, has rich educational connotation. We will take the development of Gupengcheng resources as the carrier, take the ninth grade, patriotism education and environmental protection education as the theme, and aim at cultivating students' comprehensive quality to build school-based courses with our own characteristics. At present, we have developed the "Little Tour Guide" project by using the tourism resources of Gupengcheng, which not only broadens students' horizons, but also cultivates their practical ability. The small tour guide service has become a highlight of Gupengcheng tourism and has been appreciated by all walks of life.

2. Do a good job in teaching management and ask for quality from management.

(1) Pay close attention to the management of teachers' teaching routines, such as preparing lessons, attending lectures, correcting homework, counseling and assessment, and institutionalize them. The school explicitly requires teachers to prepare lessons every week, check lesson plans every week, evaluate lesson plans at different levels every month, and announce them to all teachers. The workload should strictly abide by the provisions of the State Education Commission. The evaluation of students' homework is graded, the teacher corrects the homework on time and in quality, and the department team checks it once a month. 3. Optimize the classroom teaching with 40 minutes as the quality.

Classroom teaching is the main channel of quality education. We ask teachers to strive to achieve "five highlights" in teaching. We should emphasize inspirational teaching, teaching students in accordance with their aptitude, stimulating interest, independent inquiry and teaching and educating people. In the teaching process for many years, we always pay attention to establishing the subjective view of the teaching process, the values of all-round development, the purpose view of competency-based and the quality view of comprehensive evaluation.

In order to seek efficient and high-quality teaching methods in line with the school situation, we hold teaching competitions every year, such as "Speech Competition", "Basic Skills Competition", "Creating Characteristic Courses" and "Classroom Evaluation under the New Curriculum Standards", to explore the best combination of subjectivity and dominance, knowledge transfer and ability training, development and innovation in teaching. Through many teaching competitions, it greatly enlivens the teaching and research atmosphere of the school, creates a strong academic atmosphere, improves the ability and level of teachers' classroom teaching, and promotes the implementation of teaching effect and quality.

4. Focus on the reform of teaching and research, and strive to establish a school-based teaching and research system, which is full of vitality for scientific research.

The realization of the goal of the new round of curriculum reform is ultimately achieved through the specific internal changes of each school and based on its own development. The development of schools and the growth of teachers have become the practical needs of implementing the new curriculum.
