I am a math teacher. I often reflect on my teaching in class. What is always lacking in our class? I listened to a Chinese class yesterday, and a review class was so vivid. Why not math class? I prepared a lot of materials in class, made exquisite courseware, and added many real examples to enrich the class. Students are very interested in learning, but after a long time, they find that what students are interested in is not mathematical knowledge, but supplementary content. If this teaching method is used too much, it will definitely affect the teaching efficiency, so we have to give up and return to the original teaching method.
I read an article today, "What is the cultural value of math class? what's up "It suddenly dawned on me that my current teaching method is the proper taste of math class. When you go to Chinese class, you are often moved by the teaching atmosphere in the classroom. In teaching, teachers fully tap the hidden emotional factors in textbooks and learn knowledge under emotional experience, that is, "Chinese class is emotion-driven." Although math class is not completely devoid of emotion, and math teaching also attaches great importance to the creation of classroom atmosphere, it reflects emotions completely different from Chinese. "Mathematics class produces emotions by learning knowledge."
The emotional experience in Chinese class is innate. As long as the potential emotional factors are tapped, people can sing. This is why when we go to Chinese class, we often feel that it is a kind of enjoyment, and we still feel that we have gained a lot after listening. Emotional experience in math class is generated, not innate.
The goal of our math class is to cultivate students' rational spirit; A new way of understanding: objective research; A new pursuit: beyond the phenomenon to understand the hidden essence: a different aesthetic feeling: mathematical beauty; A deep happiness: the happiness brought by intellectual satisfaction, the happiness after success; A new emotion: peace beyond the secular; A brand-new personality: good at independent thinking, not afraid of failure, and brave in persistence. And all this is based on the mastery of knowledge, so what we have to do is to fully mobilize students' learning enthusiasm and make them highly focused and go all out.
