AMC competition level:
AMC competitions are divided into AMC8, AMC 10, AMC 12 and AIME. Among them, students with excellent performance in AMC 10 and AMC 12 competitions were invited to participate in the American Mathematical Invitational Tournament AIME, which is one of the competitions between AMC 10, AMC 12 and the American Olympic Mathematical Competition USAMO.

Participants are students of Grade 8 and below. The competition is held on a Tuesday in June165438+1October every year. The 25 multiple-choice questions complement each other. If you answer correctly, you will get one point, and if you answer incorrectly, you will not be deducted, with a full score of 25 points. The game lasts 40 minutes.
2. American Senior High School Mathematics Competition (AMC 10/ 12, American Mathematics Competition 10/ 12).
Participants are high school students or students below high school. Since 2000, the competition is usually held on Tuesday in early February every year, and the competition time is 75 minutes. The competition questions consist of 25 multiple-choice questions. Answer a question correctly 6 points, answer a question wrongly 0 points, answer a question wrongly 1.5 points; Total score 150.
3. American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME).
Will be held in the last five weeks of AMC1012a. The examination time is 3 hours, and the competition questions are composed of 15 questions, and the answers are integers from 0 to 999. If you answer a question correctly, you will get 1 point, and if you answer it incorrectly, you will not be deducted; 15.
