Introduction to high school subjects:

Senior high school is a higher education institution after the end of nine-year compulsory education in China. It accepts qualified junior high school graduates, and the general academic system is three years, that is, senior one, senior two and senior three.

In 2003, a curriculum reform of senior high school with the widest scope, deepest degree and largest scale was gradually launched since the founding of the People's Republic of China. The new curriculum no longer distinguishes learning content by semester, but by module.

For example, in mathematics, the previous learning order is function, algebra, plane geometry, solid geometry, probability statistics, limit and derivative. In the new mathematics curriculum "Mathematics", compulsory 1 is mainly function, compulsory 2 is geometry, compulsory 3 is mainly practical mathematics knowledge, and compulsory 4 is trigonometric function.

Compulsory 5 will continue and expand the previous compulsory knowledge, so that students can complete the compulsory course content of high school mathematics. The new course will be experimented and popularized in various places in the form of compulsory course+elective course, activity course+subject course, vocational education course+academic course.
